Formula 1 extends the partnership with Sky

According to a London report, Formula one extends of its broadcast partnership with sky television in Germany, Italy, Britain, and Ireland on Friday. This partnership going to the long-term last 2029. All races will be broadcast exclusively live in their respective companies like Italy and Germany. 

According to Formula 1 news, UK viewership was 1.7 million since 2020. UK and Ireland viewership increased by 60% since 2019. According to Formula 1 news, The average viewership in Italy was 1.5 million. 

“We are incredibly proud of our long-term partnership with the sky, and we are delighted to announce that we will continue working together until 2029, a very important commitment from the sky,” said Stefano Domenicali, president, and chief executive of formula one. 

 

Stephen van Rooyen, executive vice president, and chief executive of sky UK & Europe, also said: "Formula one continues to break records on Sky, with millions more watching than ever before across our markets, driven by new younger and female fans which is fantastic for the sport.
